Our Approach
We want children to know that Scripture is something they can open, explore, question, and understand.
Rather than simply telling children what a passage means, we teach them to slow down, notice what is there, ask good questions, and discover connections for themselves.
Along the way, we use language, nature, story, art, and hands-on experiences to make learning meaningful and memorable.
Look Closely
Children learn to slow down and notice the details. Who is speaking? What is happening? What words stand out? What can we discover when we look a little closer?
Through observation, storytelling, and discussion, children learn to become careful and curious readers of Scripture.
Discover Deeply
Words become an invitation to investigate. Children explore important biblical words through English, Hebrew, word roots, and ancient pictographs, discovering connections between language, Scripture, and the world around them.
Rather than simply being given an answer, children are encouraged to wonder, ask, search, and discover.
Discern Truth & Walk Faithfully
Learning Scripture is about more than knowing the right answers. Children learn to ask thoughtful questions, compare what they hear with God’s Word, and think carefully about what they believe.
Through art, storytelling, discussion, and meaningful application, biblical truths become something children can see, remember, and put into practice.
